<b>How to remove debian packages</b>
The normal way to remove a Debian package is to use
apt-get remove name
Or
aptitude remove name
But in this way you are left with a bunch of configuration files. You can remove
individual package configuration with:
apt-get purge name
Or all those packages that has been removed, but not completely:
dpkg -l | grep ^rc | cut -d' ' -f3|xargs dpkg -P
